This next work is notably different in the style and approach of the other works in this series. Demonstrating Young’s ability to reflect the values of the Penguin Café Orchestra. 

‘In the Penguin Café your unconscious can just be. It’s acceptable there and that is how everyone is.  There is an acceptance there that has to do with living in the present with no fear in ourselves’ Simon Jeffes

The female figure may be gathering fruit, evoking the story of Adam and Eve ‘before the fall from grace’. She is so close to the trunk of the tree that she could be a part of it. Young continues to play with figure and shape providing us, the viewer, an opportunity to create our own associations with the work.
